How do you enter the Competition ?

Simply book a Portrait Session with Maria . Portraits can be created at any of our Limited Edition Sessions or during your Family Portrait session even have your Child photographed with their pet for something a little different . Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend

Charlie the Beautiful Basset Hound achieved Diamond Award at tonights IPPA National Portrait Awards Judging . We also won 6 Gold and 5 Silver Awards for Child and Pet Portraits . We will be celebrating at Maria of Kilkenny this week.

Dog Days of Summer are here again

Our 3rd Annual Dog Days of Summer Dog Portrait Event is on 21st to 24th July at the Studio in High Street Kilkenny . Phone the Studio 056 7721012 to schedule a session with your Dog today .

This year the event will support Inistioge Puppy Rescue.

Four fun filled days when dogs of all shapes and sizes will visit our studio with their owners, I love working with dogs as they are always happy and willing to please and I love capturing their original expressions for their owners,many people say ‘my dog wont sit like the dogs you have on display at the studio’, but we understand that most dogs only sit for split seconds at a time so that’s when we photograph them.”

Dog Days of Summer has raised €1,177 for Irish Cavalier Rescue and €600 so far for Inistioge Puppy Rescue. For a €20 donation Maria will photograph your pet, the donation covers the portrait session time only (normally €60). You may then buy your Pet Portrait from our Botique Portrait Collection or the A La Carte Price list.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Cat

Meet Twinkle , she is the first model for our special KSPCA calendar project . Twinkle is available for adoption from Abbeyside Vets on the Dublin road in Kilkenny . Only 5 weeks old and already she is a real little character .
